Are you considering buying a kitchen with a new benchtop from Fowles Auctions?
If you have just bought a kitchen from Fowles Auctions, congratulations - you have come to the right place to get your stone benchtops installed. And by the way, you can't go past a Fowles kitchen for both quality and price. After 15 years of kitchen bench top installations, if these were not up to scratch, I would know! I have builders and developers who keep on coming back for more.
Speak to Paul, Megan or Moral about your requirements. Most weeks they are well supplied for all your needs, such as complete kitchen cupboards with 2 pack finish, a good choice of granite and reconstituted stone bench tops.
They can also help you with ovens, cooktops, sinks, mixers and rangehoods. (Fowles Auctions (03) 9265 5555)
When it comes to granite and reconstituted stone, I am available for any advice on the stone fabrication and installation. My phone number is 0412 055 304.
When it comes to installing the cupboards, you can't go past Mick 0409 196188. They have vast experience installing these cupboards. We liaise with each other to ensure your job comes up fantastically!
Where possible, they will install your cabinets one day and I come in the next to finish off your stone works. Your next tradies are the plumber (to fit off sink, oven and cook-top) and splash-back guy/gal (you may use a tiler of a glassier depending on your choice of finishes).
With my mobile workshop I can put together your benchtops and match them to your cupboards and the angle of your walls. Because this is custom made on-site, you do not need to supply templates like you would if it was made back at the factory, saving you both time and money.
Most of my installations are completed in one day. The average installation takes around 7-10 hours. My aim is to make every installation better than the last. You are welcome to hang around and watch me work and I'm happy to teach you what I'm doing and why, at every stage.
My customers often comment that what I do is more of an art than a trade.
Why so many hours?
The stone is not a piece of wood you simply cut - it has to be worked with diamond blades, cup wheels, dry and wet polishing pads. The angles have to be spot on (matching the walls, which are often not perfectly square). In most cases, I do all of the cutting outside in the driveway, front or back as it makes a lot of dust. This even goes for the sink and cooktop cut-outs as well. I have a special technique to bring it inside without cracking the stone. I also use special tools to lock and adjust the joins while the glue is drying.
Remember, before you get your stone installed, you'll need to have the kitchen, bathroom and/or laundry cupboards installed.
I will travel Australia wide.
